Helping Verb Meaning and Definition in Hindi :– जो क्रिया (verb) मुख्य क्रिया (main verb) की सहायता करती हैं उसे सहायक क्रिया यानी helping verb कहते हैं| वाक्य (sentence) में सहायक क्रियाएं (helping verb) को मुख्य क्रिया (main verb) में जोड़कर Detail में Explain करने में help करती हैं। Helping Verb मुख्य क्रिया (Main Verb) के साथ मिल कर Tense के sentence बनाने में भी सहायता करते हैं|

Helping Verb, कई sentence में Main Verb की mood (अवस्था/भाव/मनोदशा ) या modes को व्यक्त करती हैं|

Examples :-

1. He is going to home.
2. I will win a prize.
3. They have finished my work.
4. I can solve this question.
5. She was playing cricket.
6. I will go to work
7. We should leave now.
   
   

1st Example में , Main Verb – “going” हैं तथा Helping Verb- “is” हैं| Helping verb “is“, main verb “going” के साथ मिल कर sentence को complete बनाने अर्थात Tense के sentence बनाने में सहायता कर रही हैं|

2nd Examples में, helping verb – “will” हैं जो की main verb “win” की mood (अवस्था/भाव/मनोदशा ) या modes को व्यक्त करती हैं|

इन सभी वाक्यों में is, will, have, can, was और should helping verb हैं जबकि going, win finished, solve, playing, go और leave Main Verb हैं|

सहायक क्रियाएँ (helping verb) दो प्रकार की होती हैं। Helping Verb को Auxiliaries Verb भी कहते हैं|

1). Primary Helping (Auxiliaries ) Verb (प्राथमिक सहायक क्रियाएँ)

(2). Modal Helping Verb (Modal Verb) (रूपात्मक सहायक क्रियाएँ)

(1). Primary Helping (Auxiliaries) Verb :

Primary Auxiliaries Verb को मुख्य क्रिया (main verb) में जोड़कर मुख्य क्रिया (main verb) को Detail में Explain करने में “मदद” करती हैं। Primary Auxiliaries Verb मुख्य क्रिया (Main Verb) के साथ मिल कर Tense के sentence बनाने में सहायता करते हैं|

Primary Auxiliaries Verb List :- Be, Do, Does, Is, Am, Are, Has, Have, Did, Was, Were.

प्राथमिक सहायक क्रियाएँ (Primary Auxiliaries Verb) तीन प्रकार की होती हैं

1. Verb “To Be” – Is, Am, Are, Was, Were
2. Verb “To Have” – Have, Has, Had
3. Verb “To Do” – Do, Does, Did
   
   

1. Examples of Verb “To Be” – Is, Am, Are, Was, Were :-
   • She is going to home
   • He was playing cricket
   • The boys are standing
   • He is a boy
   • We were friends
   • Sita was to come here
   • He is to come on Sunday
   • He is ready
   • This gift is for you
   • What is time?
   • Who is to blame?
     
     
2. Examples of Verb “To Have” – Have, Has, Had :-
   • I have a car
   • I have got a car
   • He has got a book
   • I had expected to pass IAS
     
     
3. Examples of Verb “To Do” – Do, Does, Did :-
   • She does come here
   • Do have a cup of tea
   • It has nothing to do with you
   • He did come yesterday
     
     

Primary auxiliaries verb को स्वतन्त्र रूप से main verb के रूप में प्रयोग किया जा सकता है।

• He is a rich man
• He has much wealth.
• Rahul was busy

Here in these sentences “is”, “has” and “was” Primary Auxiliaries के साथ main verb भी हैं

(2). Modal Helping (Auxiliaries) Verb or Modal Verb :

Modal Auxiliaries Verb mood (अवस्था/भाव/मनोदशा ) या modes को व्यक्त करती हैं| Mood या modes एक ही बात है। चूंकि ये Verb के भाव/मनोदशा, क्रियाविधि को व्यक्त करते हैं अतः इन्हें Modals कहा जाता हैं|

Modal Auxiliaries Verb List :- Will, Would, Shall, Should, Can, Could, May, Might, Must, Ought to, Used to, Need, Dare.

Modals की विशेषतायें :-

1. इनका प्रयोग एक Primary Auxiliaries Verb की तरह मुख्य क्रिया के साथ होता हैं|
2. Modals के साथ हमेशा verb की 1st form लगती हैं|
3. Modals पर कर्ता के Number- Singular या Plural होने या कर्ता(subject) के Person (I,II, II person) का कोई प्रभाव नही पड़ता हैं
   जैसे :-
   • I can do it.
   • They can do it
   • He can do it
   • You can do it
4. Modal auxiliaries को स्वतन्त्र रूप से main verb के रूप में प्रयोग नहीं किया जा सकता है।
   • He will go.
   • She might pass.

Here in these sentences “will” and “might” modal auxiliaries verb है लेकिन main verb नही हैं|
